If there is one place in the Netherlands where you can do fantastic walking with your dog, it is the Veluwe. The surroundings are beautiful, there is plenty of space and you can enjoy the beautiful nature for hours. From our vacation park in the Netherlands with dog you drive in just 15 minutes to National Park De Hoge Veluwe.

Off-leash areas in the area:

    Rhederlaag Recreational Area

    This recreational area is located near our vacation park and consists of a large lake, grassy areas and beaches. Dogs are allowed to run free everywhere in the low season between October 1 and May 1.

    Beekhuizen Estate

    You hike through the most beautiful pieces of forest and occasionally cross a bridge and a flowing stream. Tip: the 4-kilometer blue post trail is largely dog-free.

    Park Immerloo

    Park Immerloo lies between Arnhem and Huissen. In the area between the Immerloo pond and the Huissensedijk, dogs are allowed to run loose. Around the lake itself, however, dogs must be leashed.

    Rozendaal Field

    A hugely varied area where you encounter forest, heath and sand. On large stretches the dog is also allowed to run free. The nature reserve is part of the National Park Veluwezoom.

🐕 What is the maximum number of dogs I can bring?

At our small-scale vacation park in the Netherlands with dogs you are welcome with one or two dogs, depending on the size and rules of the accommodation. When making your reservation, please let us know how many dogs you are bringing, so we can prepare everything perfectly for you. A maximum of two dogs are allowed on our camping pitches.

🐕 Are dogs required to be leashed at your vacation park?

At our vacation park in the Netherlands with dog, your pet should always be kept on a leash. Be sure to clean up your dog's droppings and keep your dog under control during your stay. In doing so, we ensure a clean and peaceful environment for all guests.
